Daven Gee is a filmmaker and Assistant Professor of Film & Media Arts at the Univ. Missouri Kansas City. His past films have shown around the world at festivals including Sundance, Rotterdam and others. His work has also aired on public-television.

Gee has an M.F.A. in Film Production from San Francisco State University. He has worked professionally with the public-television series P.O.V., and ITVS, and with many award-winning documentaries including the Academy Award-nominated Regret to Inform.

A resident of the Midwest for the past five years, Gee recently collaborated on two documentaries entitled Flight Call and Art on the Block. Our Mall, a one-hour documentary made in partnership with public television partner KPTS, Wichita will be completed by 2008.
