Approached subject and as I lit my cigarette, began conversation with him regarding my negative opinion about the weather.

I saw the subject smoking a cigarette in an unassuming manner and thought he would be agreeable towards being part of The Stranger Project. His friendly face seemed to invite interaction.

"Flight". When pressed on the reason for his choice he responded thusly, "Childhood interest in flight. Neatest thing to do. Not practical in reasoning, purely indulgent."

I thought the subject's response to the question was cool. Flight is a super-human power that is appealing on many different levels.

His reason for that choice was interesting in that he was very up front about it being a "purely indulgent" desire. But when I mentioned that there would be practical uses for that power he agreed wholeheartedly. Yet his first instinct was towards what would please him on a more spiritual level.
