I approached a guy eating at Joe's Pizza in Westport.   I noticed him because he was sitting alone and because he stood out by the way he dressed. He looked punk. His hair was in dreads, he had piercings, and was wearing a black jacket.   I thought he looked like someone who would be nice and answer the question, have an interesting answer and have fun doing it.

I would be able to blackout my mind, but my body could go through the motions. That way I could wake up after having worked and have my money and not have to deal with work. I could shut myself off from reality except for the cool stuff.

I thought it was a fun, clever response. There have actually been times when I have wished the same thing.   You could just experience the best parts and pass through the mundane stuff. I liked asking him because he really thought about it. He kept saying it was hard because there were so many choices. After awhile he came up with his answer and it was funny. I had a good experience because my initial reaction was right. He gave an interesting answer and was easy to talk to.
